Wherever we may be
Our allegiance we want
All the world to see

4 Comments:
Maybe the word before #2 and #3 should be "we'll"?
Beat memory I have is:
1--Our happy days wihtin our school
2--We'll fight for you
3--We'll fight for you
Not sure if 2 and 3 repeated or had different words.
Don't remember anything at 4.
I scratched the old memory drums a little deeper (50 years ago) and offer the following.
Allegiance to old Heavener High.
The dearest school in all the world.
We'll fight for Heavener High wherever we may be,
Our allegiance we want all the world to see.
Our happy days within our school,
will be with us our whole lives through.
And we'll remember everything you did for us.
Oh our dear old Heavener High.
Heavener High we'll fight for you,
High-rickety-whoop-dee-do.
Heavener High we shout for you,
High-rickety-whoop-dee-do.
We love the purple and gold.
For you we'll ever be bold.
To dear old Heavener High we will be true.
Allegiance to old Heavener High.
The dearest school in all the world.
We'll fight for Heavener High wherever we may be,
Our allegiance we want all the world to see.
Our happy days within our school,
will be with us our whole lives through.
And we'll remember everything you did for us.
Oh, our dear old Heavener High-i-igh!.
That's it! It had been years since I sang it, but it started coming back to me at our game last week. Carl Albert played Ardmore, and their fight song was On Wisconsin which we used to play right after Allegiance as we marched off the field. I could sing most of the words that we used at Heavener to Old Wisconsin, and that got me started on Allegiance. My friends couldn't believe the High Rickety Whoop Dee Doo!
