Twid's business

Coach Carl Twidwell founded Twid’s Sporting Goods (twidsports.com) in 1972 and started with one part-time employee. When he turned it over to his son, David Twidwell (dtwidwell@cox.net) and one of David’s friends, Earnest Crain (ecrain@cox.net) , it had 10 employees. Now, it has grown to 30 employees and is one of the most respected sporting good businesses in Oklahoma City . One of my coaching friends, Elliot Johnson, baseball coach at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany , OK , is a regular at Twid’s.

Among the employees, David now has an art director and a purchasing agent. The address is SE 15^th St , Oklahoma City and the phone number is 1-800-654-3095. The store’s hours are M-F 9-6 p.m. and 9-5 pm. on Saturday.
